তারপর দেবগণের সান্নিধ্য থেকেই তা শুনে দ্বিজ অসিত বিষয়টি যথার্থরূপে উপলব্ধি করলেন।
भीष्म उवाच
True understanding is strengthened when knowledge is received from a trustworthy and elevated source; here, the narrative underscores the authority of divine testimony and the disciplined receptivity of a sage.
Bhīṣma continues a didactic account: the sage Asita, described as a dvija, hears a matter directly in the presence of the gods and, after hearing, proceeds with the understanding or response that follows in the subsequent verses.
