Systems of Knowledge and Vyāsa’s Nārāyaṇa-Origin
अहिंस्न: शुचिरक्षुद्रो निराशी: कर्मसंस्तुत: । आरण्यकपदोदभूता भागास्तत्रोपकल्पिता:
ahiṃsnaḥ śucir akṣudro nirāśīḥ karmasaṃstutaḥ | āraṇyakapadodbhūtā bhāgās tatropakalpitāḥ ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—তাঁরা অহিংস, শুচি, উদারচিত্ত এবং কামনাহীন ছিলেন; প্রশংসনীয় ভাবেই কর্মে প্রবৃত্ত হয়েছিলেন। সেই যজ্ঞে দেবতাদের অংশ বনজাত নিবেদন—ফল, মূল ইত্যাদি—দ্বারাই নির্ধারিত ও প্রস্তুত করা হয়েছিল।
