महिमान तु त॑ दृष्टवा पुत्रस्यामिततेजस:
mahimānaṁ tu taṁ dṛṣṭvā putrasyāmitatejasaḥ
ভীষ্ম বললেন—অপরিমেয় তেজস্বী পুত্রের সেই মহিমা প্রত্যক্ষ করে মন শ্রদ্ধা ও বিস্ময়ে অভিভূত হয়; তখন ধর্ম ও দৈবের প্রভাব স্মরণ করে হৃদয় বিনীত হয়ে ওঠে।
