Adhyāya 33 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Post-Conflict Remorse and Inquiry on Āśrama Discipline (शोक-विमर्शः, आश्रम-जिज्ञासा)
तेषामपि श्रीनिमित्तं महानासीत् समुच्छूय: । युद्ध वर्षमहस्राणि द्वात्रिंशभवत् किल
teṣām api śrī-nimittaṁ mahān āsīt samucchūyaḥ | yuddha-varṣa-sahasrāṇi dvātriṁśad abhavat kila ||
ব্যাস বললেন—তাদের মধ্যেও শ্রী-সমৃদ্ধির কারণেই এক মহা উত্থান, অর্থাৎ সংঘাতের প্রবল স্ফীতি ঘটেছিল। কথিত আছে, সেই যুদ্ধ বত্রিশ হাজার বছর স্থায়ী হয়েছিল।
