उपाध्यायं महाराज धर्ममेवानुचिन्तयन् । महाराज! वेद-वेदांगोंकी विस्तृत व्याख्याके ज्ञाता शुकदेवजीने धर्मका विचार करके बृहस्पतिको अपना गुरु बनाया
upādhyāyaṃ mahārāja dharmam evānucintayan | mahārāja! veda-vedāṅgāṃkī vistṛta-vyākhyāke jñātā śukadevājīne dharmakā vicār karke bṛhaspatiko apanā guru banāyā
মহারাজ! ধর্মই চিন্তা করতে করতে তিনি আচার্য নির্বাচন করলেন। হে মহারাজ, বেদ ও বেদাঙ্গের বিস্তৃত ব্যাখ্যায় পারদর্শী শুকদেব ধর্ম বিচার করে বৃহস্পতিকে নিজের গুরু রূপে গ্রহণ করলেন।
