Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga
याज़्ञवल्क्य उवाच कृत्स्नधारिणमेव त्वां मन्ये गन्धर्वसत्तम । जिज्ञाससे च मां राजंस्तन्निबोध यथाश्रुतम्
yājñavalkya uvāca | kṛtsnadhāriṇam eva tvāṃ manye gandharvasattama | jijñāsase ca māṃ rājan tan nibodha yathāśrutam ||
যাজ্ঞবল্ক্য বললেন— হে গন্ধর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ, আমি তোমাকে নিঃসন্দেহে সম্পূর্ণ বোধধারী মনে করি। তবু হে রাজন, তুমি আমার কাছে জিজ্ঞাসা করছ, আমার মত জানতে চাইছ; অতএব শোনো— যেমন শুনেছি, তেমনই তোমাকে বলছি।
