लोभजानि तथा राजन्‌ बन्धनानि बलान्विता: । छित्त्वा योगा: परं मार्ग गच्छन्ति विमलं शिवम्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | lobhajāni tathā rājan bandhanāni balānvitāḥ | chittvā yogāḥ paraṃ mārgaṃ gacchanti vimalaṃ śivam ||

Translation

ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে রাজন! যেমন বলবান হরিণ জাল ছিঁড়ে সব বন্ধন থেকে মুক্ত হয়ে নির্বিঘ্নে নিজের পথে এগিয়ে যায়, তেমনি যোগবলসম্পন্ন যোগীরা লোভজাত সকল বন্ধন ছিন্ন করে পরম পথ—নির্মল ও শিবময়—লাভ করে।
