Śānti-parva Adhyāya 3: Karṇa’s training under Rāma Jāmadagnya and the Bhārgava restriction on the Brahmāstra
शापस्यान्तो भवेद् ब्रद्नन्नित्येवं तमथाब्रवम् | भविता भार्गवाद् रामादिति मामब्रवीद् भूगुः
śāpasya anto bhaved brāhmann ity evaṃ tam athābravam | bhavitā bhārgavād rāmād iti mām abravīd bhṛguḥ ||
তখন আমি তাঁকে বললাম—“হে ব্রাহ্মণ! এই শাপেরও তো অবসান হওয়া উচিত।” তা শুনে ভৃগু বললেন—“ভৃগুবংশীয় রাম (পরশুরাম)-এর দ্বারা এই শাপের অবসান হবে।”
