आक्रोशनविमानाभ्यां नाबुधान् बोधयेद् बुध: । तस्मान्न वर्धयेदन्यं न चात्मानं विहिंसयेत्

জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তির উচিত নয়—যে অজ্ঞানীরা গালিগালাজ ও অপমান করে, তাদের দোষ দেখিয়ে উপদেশ দিতে যাওয়া। অতএব এমন লোককে আর উৎসাহিত করবে না, এবং পাল্টা দোষারোপ করে নিজেরই ক্ষতি ডেকে আনবে না।
हंस उवाच
Do not attempt to reform the ignorant when they are in a mode of abuse and contempt; engaging them only escalates conflict. Instead, avoid fueling their behavior and protect your own integrity by not retaliating in ways that lead to self-harm (ethical, mental, or social).
