सर्वात्मनानुकुर्वीत गृहस्थ: कर्मनिश्चयम् । दाक्ष्येण हव्यकव्यार्थ स्वधर्मे विचरन् नृप
sarvātmanānukurvīta gṛhasthaḥ karmaniścayam | dākṣyeṇa havyakavyārtha svadharme vicaran nṛpa naraśvara |
পরাশর বললেন—হে নরেশ্বর! গৃহস্থের উচিত সম্পূর্ণ মনপ্রাণ দিয়ে নিজের কর্তব্যে দৃঢ় সংকল্প স্থাপন করা। স্বধর্মে অবস্থান করে দক্ষতার সঙ্গে দেবকার্য ও পিতৃকার্য—যজ্ঞ ও শ্রাদ্ধাদি—সম্পাদন করা উচিত।
