Yoga Definition and Sāṃkhya Enumeration
स्वल्पाप्यर्था: प्रशस्यन्ते धर्मस्यार्थे महाफला: । पराशरजी कहते हैं--राजन! ब्राह्मणके यहाँ प्रतिग्रहसे मिला हुआ
svalpāpy arthāḥ praśasyante dharmasyārthe mahāphalāḥ | tena sam te gaganagāḥ sapurāḥ pātitāḥ kṣitau | tridhāpy ekena bāṇena devāppāyita-tejasā ||
পরাশর বললেন—রাজন! নিজ নিজ বর্ণধর্ম অনুযায়ী অর্জিত সামান্য ধনও প্রশংসনীয়; আর তা যদি ধর্মকার্যে ব্যয় হয়, তবে মহাফল দেয়। সেই ন্যায়েই দেবতাদের দ্বারা বর্ধিত তেজে শক্তিমান একটিমাত্র বাণে আকাশে বিচরণকারী সেই অসুরেরা তাদের নগরসমেত ভূমিতে পতিত হল—তিন নগর এক বাণেই ধ্বংস হল।
