Parāśara’s Instruction
शृणुयाच्चैव या नारी तद्धक्ता ब्रह्मचारिणी । पितृपक्षे भर्त॒पक्षे पूज्या भवति देववत्
śṛṇuyāccaiva yā nārī tadbhaktā brahmacāriṇī | pitṛpakṣe bhartṛpakṣe pūjyā bhavati devavat ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—যে নারী ভগবান শঙ্করের প্রতি ভক্তিভাবে ব্রহ্মচর্য পালন করে এই স্তোত্র শ্রবণ করে, সে পিতৃকুলে ও পতিগোত্রে—উভয়ত্রই দেবতার ন্যায় পূজ্য হয়।
