शुक्ल: शुक्लाभिजातीय: साध्यो नावर्ततेडनघ । तिर्यग्गतेश्व निर्मुक्तो निरयाच्च पितामह
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
śuklaḥ śuklābhijātīyaḥ sādhyo nāvartate 'nagha |
tiryaggateṣv anirmukto nirayāc ca pitāmaha ||
যুধিষ্ঠির বললেন—হে নিষ্পাপ পিতামহ! তিনি ‘শুক্ল’—শুদ্ধ বংশে জন্মগ্রহণকারী এবং স্বভাবতই শুদ্ধ। মনে হয় তিনি প্রকৃতপক্ষে সাধ্য-দেবতা ছিলেন; তাই তিনি আর সংসারে প্রত্যাবর্তন করেন না। তিনি পশু-পাখির যোনি এবং নরক থেকেও মুক্ত হয়েছেন, হে পিতামহ।
