परिव्राजक-आचारः (Conduct of the Wandering Renunciant) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 269
कृतशुद्धशरीरो हि पात्र भवति ब्राह्मण: । आनन्त्यमत्र बुद्धयेदं कर्मणां तद् ब्रवीमि ते
kṛtaśuddhaśarīro hi pātra bhavati brāhmaṇaḥ | ānantyam atra buddhyedaṃ karmaṇāṃ tad bravīmi te
যার দেহ-জীবন আচরণে শুদ্ধ হয়েছে, সেই ব্রাহ্মণই সত্যিই পাত্র হয়। এখানে কর্মের অনন্ত বিস্তার ও ফলবিস্তার বুদ্ধিতে উপলব্ধি করা উচিত; তাই আমি তোমাকে এ কথা বলছি।
