परिव्राजक-आचारः (Conduct of the Wandering Renunciant) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 269
सर्वमानन्त्यमासीद् वै एवं नः शाश्वती श्रुति: । तेषामपेततृष्णानां निर्णिक्तानां शुभात्मनाम्
sarvam ānantyam āsīd vai evaṃ naḥ śāśvatī śrutiḥ | teṣām apetatṛṣṇānāṃ nirṇiktānāṃ śubhātmanām ||
কপিল বললেন—নিশ্চয়ই সবই অনন্ত হয়ে উঠেছিল; এভাবেই আমাদের শাশ্বত শ্রুতি বলে। যেসব শুভাত্মার তৃষ্ণা অপসৃত হয়েছে এবং যারা নির্মল-শুদ্ধ, তাদের কাছে সমস্ত অভিজ্ঞতাই অনন্তে পরিব্যাপ্ত বলে প্রতীয়মান হয়।
