परिव्राजक-आचारः (Conduct of the Wandering Renunciant) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 269
आगमाश्च यथाकाले संकल्पाश्न यथाक्रमम् । अपेतकामक्रोधानां दुश्चराचारकर्मणाम्
āgamāś ca yathākāle saṅkalpāś ca yathākramam | apetakāmakrodhānāṃ duścarācārakarmaṇām ||
যথাসময়ে তাঁদের মধ্যে শাস্ত্রজ্ঞান উদিত হতো এবং যথাক্রমে সত্যসঙ্কল্প পরিপক্ব হতো। কাম ও ক্রোধ ত্যাগ করে তাঁদের আচরণ ও সাধনা এতই কঠোর ছিল যে অন্যদের পক্ষে তা অনুসরণ করা অত্যন্ত দুরূহ ছিল।
