यज्ञेऽहिंसा-प्राधान्यम्

Primacy of Non-Harm in Sacrificial Ethics

यच्चापि किंचित्‌ कर्तव्यमन्यच्चोक्षै: सुसंस्कृतम्‌ । महासत्त्वै: शुद्धभावै: सर्व देवाहमेव तत्‌

bhīṣma uvāca | yac cāpi kiñcit kartavyam anyac cokṣaiḥ susaṃskṛtam | mahāsattvaiḥ śuddhabhāvaiḥ sarva devāham eva tat ||

ভীষ্ম বললেন—যা কিছুই প্রস্তুত করা হোক, এবং যা প্রোক্ষণাদি দ্বারা সুসংস্কৃত, যদি তা শুদ্ধভাবসম্পন্ন মহান আত্মাদের দ্বারা সম্পন্ন হয়, তবে সে সবই দেবতাদের অর্পণের যোগ্য হয়।
