Kapila and Syūmaraśmi on Renunciation, Householder Support, and Epistemic Authority
नानुरुद्धये निरुध्ये वा न द्वेष्मि न च कामये । समोऊ हं सर्वभूतेषु पश्य मे जाजले व्रतम् । तुला मे सर्वभूतेषु समा तिष्तति जाजले
nānuruddhaye niruddhye vā na dveṣmi na ca kāmaye | samo ’haṁ sarvabhūteṣu paśya me jājale vratam | tulā me sarvabhūteṣu samā tiṣṭhati jājale ||
আমি না কারও কাছে অনুনয় করি, না কারও বিরোধ করি; না আমি দ্বেষ করি, না কামনা করি। সকল প্রাণীর প্রতি আমার সমভাব। হে জাজলি, এটাই আমার ব্রত ও নিয়ম—দেখো। মুনিবর, আমার দাঁড়িপাল্লা সকলের জন্য সম; সকলকে এক মানদণ্ডে মাপে।
