ईरष्याभिमानलोभेषु कामक्रोधभयेषु च
īrṣyābhimānalobheṣu kāmakrodhabhayeṣu ca
ভীষ্ম বললেন—ঈর্ষা, অহংকার ও লোভে, এবং কাম, ক্রোধ ও ভয়েও মানুষকে সদা সতর্ক থাকতে হবে; কারণ এই অন্তঃশত্রুগুলি বিচারবুদ্ধিকে বিচলিত করে ধর্মপথ থেকে সরিয়ে দেয়।
