त्रैलोक्यं सर्वभूतेशे चक्रवत्परिवर्तते । तुम भी यह सब सुननेके योग्य अधिकारी हो; अतः भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका जो कल्याणमय उत्कृष्ट माहात्म्य है, उसे सुनो। यह जो सृष्टि-प्रलयरूप अनादि, अनन्त कालचक्र है, वह श्रीकृष्णका ही स्वरूप है। सर्वभूतेश्वर श्रीकृष्णमें ये तीनों लोक चक्रकी भाँति घूम रहे हैं
trailokyaṁ sarvabhūteśe cakravat parivartate |
ভীষ্ম বললেন—তুমি এ কথা শোনার যোগ্য; অতএব ভগবান শ্রীকৃষ্ণের কল্যাণময়, সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট মাহাত্ম্য শ্রবণ করো। সৃষ্টি ও প্রলয়ের রূপে প্রকাশিত এই অনাদি-অনন্ত কালচক্র স্বয়ং তাঁরই স্বরূপ; আর সর্বভূতেশ্বর শ্রীকৃষ্ণের মধ্যে এই ত্রিলোক চক্রের ন্যায় অবিরাম আবর্তিত হয়।
