इत्युक्तः स तदा देव्या विप्र: प्रोवाच धर्मवित् जप्यं॑ प्रति ममेच्छेयं वर्धत्विति पुन: पुन:
ity uktaḥ sa tadā devyā vipraḥ provāca dharmavit | japyaṃ prati mamēccheyaṃ vardhatv iti punaḥ punaḥ ||
দেবীর এ কথা শুনে ধর্মজ্ঞ ব্রাহ্মণ বলল—“জপ্য মন্ত্রের বিষয়ে আমার এই ইচ্ছাই—এটি যেন বারংবার বৃদ্ধি পায়,” সে কথাই সে পুনঃপুনঃ বলল।
