उत्तर: पृथिवी भाग: सर्वपुण्यतम: शुभ: । इहस्थास्तत्र जायन्ते ये वै पुण्यकृतो जना:
uttaraḥ pṛthivī-bhāgaḥ sarva-puṇya-tamaḥ śubhaḥ | ihasthās tatra jāyante ye vai puṇya-kṛto janāḥ ||
ভারদ্বাজ বললেন—পৃথিবীর উত্তরভাগ সর্বাধিক পুণ্যময় ও মঙ্গলময়। এই লোকেতে যারা ধর্মানুসারে পুণ্যকর্ম করে, তারা মৃত্যুর পরে সেই দেশে পুনর্জন্ম লাভ করে।
