पुत्र बवाच मृत्युनाभ्याहतो लोको जरया परिवारित: । अहोरात्रा: पतन्त्येते ननु कस्मान्न बुध्यसे
putra uvāca mṛtyunābhyāhato loko jarayā parivāritaḥ | ahorātrāḥ patanty ete nanu kasmān na budhyase ||
পুত্র বলল—পিতা, এই লোক মৃত্যুর দ্বারা আঘাতপ্রাপ্ত এবং জরা দ্বারা চারদিক থেকে পরিবেষ্টিত। দিন-রাত্রি অবিরত ঝরে পড়ছে, প্রাণীদের আয়ু হরণ করে—তবু আপনি কেন বোধ করছেন না?
