Doctrine of Creation from the Unmanifest ‘Mānasa’

yadā na kurute dhīraḥ sarvabhūteṣu pāpakam | karmaṇā manasā vācā brahma sampadyate tadā ||

Educational Q&A

Complete non-harm and non-sin toward all beings—maintained consistently in thought, speech, and action—is presented as the direct condition for attaining Brahman. Ethical integrity is treated as a spiritual discipline leading to liberation.

In the Shanti Parva’s instructional setting, a Brahmin speaker delivers a concise doctrinal statement: the wise person who refrains from wrongdoing toward any creature in all three channels (mind, speech, deed) becomes established in Brahman.
