ततः प्रदुद्रुवु: सर्वे विप्रसंघा: समनन््ततः । गौतमो<पि सुवर्णस्य भारमादाय सत्वर:
tataḥ pradudruvuḥ sarve viprasaṅghāḥ samanantataḥ | gautamo ’pi suvarṇasya bhāram ādāya satvaraḥ ||
তখন সব ব্রাহ্মণসমূহ চারদিকে ছুটে পালাল। গৌতমও সোনার ভারী বোঝা তুলে তাড়াহুড়ো করে চলল; বোঝায় নুয়ে, ক্লান্ত ও ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে সে বটগাছের দিকে এগোল।
