स चाद्य दिवस: पुण्यो हतिथिश्चायमागतः । संकल्पितं चैव धनं कि विचार्यमत: परम्
sa cādya divasaḥ puṇyo hatithiścāyam āgataḥ | saṅkalpitaṃ caiva dhanaṃ ki vicāryamataḥ param ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—‘আজকের দিন পুণ্যময়, আর এই উপযুক্ত তিথিও এসে গেছে। দানের জন্য ধনও সংকল্পিত হয়েছে; এর পরে আর কী ভাববার আছে?’
