मृत्यु-काल-प्रबोधनम् (Instruction on Mortality, Time, and Truth) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 169
त्वद्दर्शनात् तु विप्रेन्द्र कृतार्थो 5स्म्यद्य वै द्विज । आवां हि सह यास्याव: श्वो वसस्वाद्य शर्वरीम्
tvaddarśanāt tu viprendra kṛtārtho 'smy adya vai dvija | āvām hi saha yāsyāvaḥ śvo vasasvādya śarvarīm ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন— “হে ব্রাহ্মণশ্রেষ্ঠ! আজ তোমার দর্শনে আমি কৃতার্থ হলাম। হে দ্বিজ! আজ রাত্রি এখানেই বাস করো; আগামী প্রভাতে আমরা দু’জনে একসঙ্গে যাত্রা করব।”
