Educational Q&A

The passage underscores the ethical idea that merit (sukṛti/puṇya) leads to honor and elevated states: a virtuous person is celebrated by other noble beings, suggesting karmic reward and social-spiritual recognition as fruits of dharmic conduct.

After a preceding event, a woman (implied by ‘she saw’) beholds her husband in a heavenly setting: he sits in a vimāna, splendidly adorned, while many virtuous great-souled beings honor and repeatedly praise him.
