कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च

दृष्टवा5<र्तोंडपि हि पापात्मा स तां पज्जरके5क्षिपत् । स्वयं दुःखाभिभूतो5पि दुःखमेवाकरोत् परे
dṛṣṭvā ārtaṃ api hi pāpātmā sa tāṃ pañjarake 'kṣipat | svayaṃ duḥkhābhibhūto 'pi duḥkham evākarot pare ||
কষ্টে কাতর দেখে-ও সেই পাপবুদ্ধি তাকে খাঁচায় নিক্ষেপ করল। নিজে দুঃখে আচ্ছন্ন হয়েও সে অপরের জন্য দুঃখই সৃষ্টি করল।
