Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
यस्तु वर्षमविज्ञाय क्षेत्र कर्षति कर्षक: । हीन: पुरुषकारेण सस्य॑ नैवाश्लुते ततः,जो किसान वर्षाके समयका विचार न करके खेत जोतता है, उसका पुरुषार्थ व्यर्थ जाता है; और उस जुताईसे उसको अनाज नहीं मिल पाता
yastu varṣam avijñāya kṣetraṃ karṣati karṣakaḥ | hīnaḥ puruṣakāreṇa sasyaṃ naivāśnute tataḥ ||
যে কৃষক বর্ষাকালের সময় না বুঝে ক্ষেত চাষ করে, তার পরিশ্রম অপূর্ণই থেকে যায়; সেই অসময়ে শ্রমে সে শস্য লাভ করে না।
