पूजन्युवाच वैरं पञ्चसमुत्थानं तच्च बुध्यन्ति पण्डिता: । स्त्रीकृतं वास्तुजं वाग्ज॑ं ससापत्नापराधजम्‌

Transliteration

pūjanī uvāca: vairaṁ pañcasamutthānaṁ tac ca budhyanti paṇḍitāḥ | strīkṛtaṁ vāstujaṁ vāgjaṁ sasāpatnāparādhajam ||

Translation

পূজনী বললেন—হে রাজন, বৈর পাঁচটি উৎস থেকে জন্মায়; পণ্ডিতেরা তা স্পষ্টই জানেন—(১) নারীর কারণে, (২) গৃহ-ভূমি/সম্পত্তির কারণে, (৩) কঠোর ও বিদ্ধকারী বাক্যের কারণে, (৪) সতীন-সম্পর্কিত অপরাধ/দ্বেষের কারণে, এবং (৫) পূর্বকৃত অপরাধের কারণে।
