तम्मित्र कारणं सर्व विस्तरेणापि मे शूणु । कारणात्‌ प्रियतामेति द्वेष्यो भवति कारणात्‌

Transliteration

tan mitra kāraṇaṁ sarvaṁ vistareṇāpi me śṛṇu | kāraṇāt priyatām eti dveṣyo bhavati kāraṇāt ||

Translation

ভীষ্ম বললেন—“হে বন্ধু, এর সম্পূর্ণ কারণ আমার কাছ থেকে বিস্তারে শোনো। কারণেই মানুষ প্রিয় হয়, আর কারণেই মানুষ ঘৃণিত হয়।”
