संधातव्यं बुधैर्नित्यं व्यवस्य च हितार्थिभि: । अमिन्रैरपि संधेयं प्राणा रक्ष्या हि भारत

Transliteration

sandhātavyaṁ budhair nityaṁ vyavasya ca hitārthibhiḥ | amitrair api sandheyaṁ prāṇā rakṣyā hi bhārata ||

Translation

হে ভারত! হিতকামী জ্ঞানীরা স্থির সিদ্ধান্ত করে সর্বদা সন্ধি ও মৈত্রী সাধন করবে; আর প্রয়োজনে শত্রুর সঙ্গেও সন্ধি করা উচিত—কারণ প্রাণরক্ষা সর্বদাই কর্তব্য।
