आपद्धर्मे राज्ञः नीतिः — Bharadvāja’s Counsel on Crisis-Statecraft (Śānti Parva 138)
अथ सम्प्रतिपत्तिज्ञ: प्राब्रवीद् दीर्घदर्शिनम् । प्राप्ते काले न मे किंचिन्न्यायत: परिहास्यते
atha sampratipattijñaḥ prābravīd dīrghadarśinam | prāpte kāle na me kiñcin nyāyataḥ parihāsyate ||
তারপর বিচক্ষণ বুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন ব্যক্তি দূরদর্শীকে বলল—“বন্ধু! যথাযথ সময় এলে আমার বুদ্ধি ন্যায়ের পথে কোনো উপায় খুঁজে পেতে ব্যর্থ হয় না; যা ধর্মসম্মত, তা আমার চোখ এড়ায় না।”
