Sandhi–Vigraha in Āpada: The Mouse and the Cat (सन्धिविग्रहापदि—मूषकमार्जारसंवादः)
मधुमांसैर्मूलफलैरन्नैरुच्चावचैरपि । सत्कृत्य भोजयामास मान्यान् परिचचार च,वह निषाद मधु, मांस, फल, मूल तथा नाना प्रकारके अन्नोंद्वारा माता-पिताको सत्कारपूर्वक भोजन कराता था तथा दूसरे-दूसरे माननीय पुरुषोंकी भी सेवा-पूजा किया करता था
madhumāṁsair mūlaphalair annair uccāvacair api | satkṛtya bhojayāmāsa mānyān paricacāra ca ||
সে নিষাদ মধু, মাংস, মূল-ফল এবং নানা প্রকার অন্ন দিয়ে সম্মানসহকারে তার পিতা-মাতাকে আহার করাত; আর অন্যান্য মান্যজনদেরও সেবা-পরিচর্যা করত।
