त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma

एक दिन इन्द्रके सम्मानित सखा उदारचेता शत्रुसूदन राजा मान्धाता उनके दर्शनके लिये आये ।।
sopasṛtya tu māndhātā vasuhomaṃ narādhipam | dṛṣṭvā prakṛṣṭatapasaṃ vinato 'gre 'bhyatiṣṭhat ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—তখন রাজা মান্ধাতা রাজর্ষি বসুহোমের নিকট গেলেন। তাঁর উৎকৃষ্ট তপস্যা দেখে তিনি বিনীত হয়ে সম্মুখে শ্রদ্ধাভরে দাঁড়ালেন।
