समयोथ<यं कृतस्तेन साचिव्यमुपगच्छता । नोपघातत्त्वया कार्यो राजन्‌ मैत्रीमिहेच्छता

Transliteration

samayo 'tha ayaṁ kṛtas tena sācivyam upagacchatā | nopaghātas tvayā kāryo rājan maitrīm ihecchatā ||

Translation

মন্ত্রীত্ব গ্রহণ করতে সে যখন আপনার কাছে এসেছিল, তখন সে এই শর্ত স্থির করেছিল। অতএব, হে রাজন, আপনি যদি এখানে মৈত্রী চান, তবে তার অনিষ্ট হয় এমন কিছু করা উচিত নয়।
