शकुनि (हिरण्मय-पक्षी) उपदेशः — Vighasāśin and the Difficulty of Gārhasthya
शकुनिरुवाच यदि मां नाभिशंकध्वं विभज्यात्मानमात्मना | ततोऊहं व: प्रवक्ष्यामि याथातथ्यं हितं॑ वच:,पक्षीने कहा--यदि आपलोग मुझपर संदेह न करें तो मैं स्वयं ही अपने आपको वक्ताके रूपमें विभक्त करके आपलोगोंको यथावत्रूपसे हितकी बात बताऊँगा
śakunir uvāca yadi māṁ nābhiśaṅkadhvaṁ vibhajyātmānam ātmanā | tato ’haṁ vaḥ pravakṣyāmi yāthātathyaṁ hitaṁ vacaḥ ||
শকুনি বলল—যদি তোমরা আমার প্রতি সন্দেহ না করো, তবে আমি নিজের মধ্যে নিজেকে (বক্তারূপে) বিভক্ত করে তোমাদের সত্য ও কল্যাণকর বাক্য বলব।
