Gaṇānāṃ Vṛttiḥ — On the Sustenance and Cohesion of Assemblies
Gaṇa-nīti
तत्रादानेन भिद्यन्ते गणा: संघातवृत्तय: । भिन्ना विमनस: सर्वे गच्छन्त्यरिवशं भयात्
tatrādānena bhidyante gaṇāḥ saṅghātavṛttayaḥ | bhinnā vimanasaḥ sarve gacchanty arivaśaṃ bhayāt ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন— যারা সংঘবদ্ধ হয়ে জীবিকা চালায়, সেই গণসমূহও যথাসময়ে প্রাপ্য না পেলে ভেঙে যায়। ভেঙে গেলে সকলের মন বিষণ্ণ হয়, পরস্পর বিরোধী হয়ে ওঠে এবং ভয়ের বশে শত্রুর অধীনতায় চলে যায়।
