अमित्रमुपसेवेत विश्वस्तवदविश्वसन् । प्रियमेव वदेन्नित्यं नाप्रियं किंचिदाचरेत्
amitrām upaseveta viśvastavad aviśvasan | priyam eva vaden nityaṁ nāpriyaṁ kiñcid ācaret ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন— অন্তরে বিশ্বাস না রেখেও বাহিরে বিশ্বস্তের ন্যায় শত্রুর সেবা করবে। সর্বদা তার কাছে প্রিয় বাক্যই বলবে, কখনও অপ্রিয় আচরণ করবে না।
