Upāya-dharma and Senāyoga: Expedient Ethics & Army Deployment
बहुभिग्गुणजातैश्व ये युद्धकुशला जना: । उपन्यासो भवेत् तत्र बलानां नातिदूरत:
bahubhir guṇajātaiś ca ye yuddhakuśalā janāḥ | upanyāso bhavet tatra balānāṃ nātidūrataḥ ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন— যাঁরা যুদ্ধকুশলী এবং ভূমির নানাবিধ ব্যবহারিক গুণ জানেন, তাঁরা বলেন যে খোলা সমতলের চেয়ে অরণ্যের নিকটবর্তী স্থান শিবির স্থাপনে অধিক উপকারী। অতএব সেই বন থেকে খুব দূরে নয়—এমন স্থানে সেনার শিবির স্থাপন করা উচিত, যাতে শত্রুর আক্রমণ প্রতিহত করতে প্রস্তুতি ও সুবিধা থাকে।
