tatra me gamanaṁ prāptaṁ rocate tava mādhava
The verse highlights disciplined assent: one’s intended action should become ‘pleasing’ when it aligns with sound counsel and a higher ethical purpose, especially in morally weighty contexts like war.
In Vaiśampāyana’s narration, a character addresses Kṛṣṇa as Mādhava and indicates that proceeding to the indicated place or course of action now seems appropriate, signaling agreement with Kṛṣṇa’s direction.
