इत्युक्तो भगवान् देव: स्मयन्निव निरीक्ष्य ताम् उवाच निय मं ज्ञात्वा सांत्वयन्निव भारत
ity ukto bhagavān devaḥ smayann iva nirīkṣya tām uvāca niyamaṃ jñātvā sāntvayann iva bhārata
এ কথা শুনে ভগবান ইন্দ্র যেন মৃদু হাসি নিয়ে তার দিকে তাকালেন; তার ব্রত-নিয়ম বুঝে, হে ভারত, যেন সান্ত্বনা দিয়ে তিনি বললেন।
