नष्टो न दृश्यते यत्र शमीगर्भे हुताशन: । लोकालोकविनाशे च प्रादुर्भूते तदानघ
naṣṭo na dṛśyate yatra śamīgarbhe hutāśanaḥ | lokālokavināśe ca prādurbhūte tadānagha ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—যেখানে শমী বৃক্ষের গর্ভে লুকিয়ে থাকা হুতাশন (অগ্নি) বিলুপ্তপ্রায় হয়ে আর দেখা যাচ্ছিল না, এবং সেই সময় লোক-অলোক—আলো ও অন্ধকারের বিধিবদ্ধ জগত—ধ্বংসের লক্ষণ প্রকাশ পেল, হে নিষ্পাপ!
