Janamejaya uvāca: atyadbhutam idaṁ brahman śrutavān asmi tattvataḥ | abhiṣekaṁ kumārasya vistareṇa yathāvidhi ||
জনমেজয় বললেন— হে ব্রাহ্মণ! কুমারের বিধিপূর্বক অভিষেকের এই অতিশয় আশ্চর্য বৃত্তান্ত আমি আপনার মুখ থেকে তত্ত্বতঃ ও বিস্তারে, যথাবিধি, যথার্থরূপে শুনেছি।
