भीमसेनस्य कौरवसुतवधः तथा श्रुतर्वावधः

तत्र युद्धम भूद् घोरं मुहूर्तमतिदारुणम् । सात्यकिस्तु महाबाहुर्मम हत्वा परिच्छदम्
tatra yuddham abhūd ghoraṁ muhūrtam atidāruṇam | sātyakis tu mahābāhur mama hatvā paricchadam ||
সেখানে অল্প সময়ের জন্য যুদ্ধ ভয়ংকর—অতিদারুণ হয়ে উঠল। তারপর মহাবাহু সাত্যকি আমার রক্ষাকবচ-আবরণ (পরিচ্ছদ) ভেঙে ফেলে আক্রমণ আরও চেপে ধরল।
