Śālva’s Elephant Assault and the Counterstroke (शाल्वस्य नागारूढाभ्यवहारः)
मयि स्थिते च समरे निरुद्धेषु च पाण्डुषु पुनरावर्तते तूर्ण मापकं बलमोजसा,“जब मैं समरांगणमें खड़ा होऊँगा और पाण्डवोंका बढ़ाव रुक जायगा, तब मेरी सेना पुनः शीघ्र ही लौट आयेगी और सारी शक्ति लगाकर युद्ध करेगी”

সঞ্জয় বললেন— “আমি যখন রণক্ষেত্রে দৃঢ়ভাবে দাঁড়াব এবং পাণ্ডবদের অগ্রগতি রুদ্ধ হবে, তখন আমাদের সেনা দ্রুতই আবার ফিরে আসবে এবং সমস্ত শক্তি সঞ্চয় করে নব উদ্যমে যুদ্ধ আরম্ভ করবে।”
