शल्यवधे कौरवसेनाभङ्गः, भीमस्य गदायुद्धं, दुर्योधनस्य समाह्वानम्

परित्रातुं महेष्वासान् मद्रराजपदानुगान् । अन्योन्यं परिरक्षामो यत्नेन महता नूप
paritrātuṁ maheṣvāsān madrarāja-padānugān | anyonyaṁ parirakṣāmo yatnena mahatā nṛpa ||
দুর্যোধন বলল—“হে নৃপতি! মদ্ররাজের আদেশানুগত মহাধনুর্ধরদের রক্ষার্থে আমরা মহৎ সতর্কতা ও প্রচেষ্টায় পরস্পরকে রক্ষা করি।”
