दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya
अप्रह्ृष्टेन मनसा राजसूये महाक्रतौ । प्रेक्ष्य तामद्भुतामृद्धि जगाम गजसाह्दयम्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: aprahṛṣṭena manasā rājasūye mahākratau | prekṣya tām adbhutām ṛddhiṁ jagāma gajasāhṛdayam, rājan |
রাজসূয় মহাযজ্ঞে সেই আশ্চর্য সমৃদ্ধি দেখে দুর্যোধনের মন প্রফুল্ল হল না; ঈর্ষা ও অপমানের ভারে হৃদয় ভারাক্রান্ত করে সে গজসাহ্বয়—হস্তিনাপুরে—চলে গেল।
