हंसेन्दुवर्णसदूशानायोजनसुदर्शनान्‌ । असम्बाधान्‌ समद्वारान्‌ युतानुच्चावचैर्गुणै:

Transliteration

haṃsenduvarṇasadṛśān āyojanasudarśanān | asambādhān samadvārān yutān uccāvacair guṇaiḥ ||

Translation

বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—অতিথিশালাগুলি হাঁস ও চাঁদের মতো শুভ্র ছিল; এক যোজন দূর থেকেও স্পষ্ট দেখা যেত। সেখানে কোনো সংকীর্ণতা ছিল না; সব ক’টির দ্বার সমান ও সুসজ্জিত; আর প্রতিটি গৃহ নানা গুণে—সুখ-সুবিধায়—সমৃদ্ধ ছিল, যাতে অতিথিসৎকার মর্যাদায় সম্পন্ন হয়।
